Moylena Court is an Inspire Mental Health Supported Living Community for adults who require support to maintain a level of independence and recovery relative to their journey and needs.

Throughout November and December 2019, residents of Moylena Court designed and created crafts including Christmas Tree decorations and light up Disney crafts to sell in aid of the Simon Community, Northern Ireland’s leading homeless charity who help over 3000 people every year to support people who are, or are at risk of, becoming homeless.

Residents sold their handmade crafts at Inspire’s 60th Birthday Christmas Fair and raised £223 for the local homeless charity.

Oonagh Hughes, Project Worker at Moylena Court said, “Residents really enjoyed creating and making the crafts to sell. We work with our residents on a range of activities which includes our in-house art and crafts sessions. We provide a holistic approach to our residents needs creating an environment which fosters and promotes team and partnership working to ensure positive outcomes.”
