On 6th December, over 250 Inspire staff, volunteers and service users travelled to Girdwood Community Hub in north Belfast for our Winter Wonderland celebration.
The event featured Christmas carols from the Boys Model School choir, karaoke, a cinema room screening of festive staple ‘Elf’, a party photo booth, carnival games, festive nail art and – naturally – a wide selection of food and drinks.
Attendees travelled from as far afield as Dundalk and Omagh to enjoy the festivities and take part in a range of the carnival games: hook a duck, bean bag can toss, slam dunk Santa and many more.
In addition to providing a fun day out, the gathering marked a special anniversary as Inspire turned 60 this year. Filled with smiles and laughter, the Winter Wonderland represented a fantastic end to 2019.
Thanks to everyone who helped to make it a success. The generous support of the Hospital Saturday Fund was also greatly appreciated.
