New rhythms wellbeing drumming

Studies show that gentle group drumming can significantly improve your mental health.

Not only is it relaxing and fun, it can also help reduce depression and anxiety and boost your social resilience and overall wellbeing.

Our free six-week wellbeing programme supports and encourages adults to be creative, gain confidence and connect with others through drumming.

About the Project:
  • The programme aims to support and encourage adults in rural communities who may feel isolated or disconnected from their local community.
  • Each week, the group will also follow the Take 5 Steps to Wellbeing to learn creative and practical ways to help their mental health and wellbeing.

“The drumming has brought people together and has brought so much positivity, we need more of that in rural towns for sure”.
