Right support right time

Right Support Right Time is a new mental health and wellbeing service which aims to ensure people get the wellbeing support that works for them.
The project will on focus the social, economic and health inequalities that lead to poor mental health including financial issues, housing, relationships, loss, ill health, loneliness, physical health, disability, substance misuse and the impact of forced migration and displacement.
Right Support Right Time will provide people with personalised support and information to help them positively take steps to deal with the issues causing them worry, anxiety and distress.
A team of expert advocates will offer people a comprehensive range of support services including:
-Focused one to one conversations to find the support that will work for them
-Mental health and wellbeing information and awareness sessions
-Practical tips and advice to improve wellbeing and resilience
-Expert support and advocacy to help people deal with the issues they are worried about
-Access to therapeutic physical and mental wellbeing support
-Practical planning and support to help people understand their rights and ensure their voice is heard
The service is open to anyone living in Northern Ireland and the border counties of Ireland over 16 years of age and families. We will specifically target people mostly likely to experience poor mental health and least likely to access services including: people living in areas of deprivation, people with intellectual and physical disabilities and their families and carers, people experiencing homelessness, newcomer families and people seeking international protection.
Right Support Right Time is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB) and will be delivered in Northern Ireland and the Border Counties of Ireland by seven leading charities, Inspire, Mencap, Cedar, Apex, Respond, DePaul, and the Red Cross.
This project is supported by €7.7m from the PEACEPLUS Programme, delivered by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).
We’re especially focused on supporting people who are most likely to experience poor mental health and least likely to access support, including:
