We recently held our third annual service user SummerFest at the beautiful Gosford Forest Park, just outside Markethill, and all 250 attendees had a great time.
With the weather dry and (mostly) sunny, volunteers and the people who use our services welcomed the opportunity to come together and enjoy a day in the leafy surroundings of the Orchard County. We had it all: sports, inflatable fairground games and delicious food. In the big marquee, music, craic and even some line dancing were very much on the menu.
Our very busy caricature artist, Mick O’Dell, proved to be extremely popular once again and we were also thrilled that McMullan’s Mobile Farm was able to bring its fantastic petting zoo back to SummerFest.
We’re so grateful to everyone for coming along, from across Ireland. As ever, we’re already thinking about ways to make SummerFest even bigger and even better next year. Watch this space…
