Mental ill health doesn’t discriminate. Do you? This is the question that we are asking today, on World Mental Health Day.
Polling carried out by the UK Anti-Stigma Alliance last year found that 64% of people in Northern Ireland with experiences of mental ill health have felt shamed because of it. We don’t think that’s ok.
Fortunately, there are a number of small steps that we can all follow to support people living with mental illness. In doing so, this drives positive change for everyone.
World Mental Health Day is one of the most significant dates on our campaign calendar and it offers the perfect opportunity to make a difference.
We’re asking the public to do three simple things: Check. Call. Challenge.
