Inspire has been delivering advocacy services in Northern Ireland for more than 25 years, supporting people across mental health and addictions, intellectual disability, autism, supported living and community settings.
For us, the central test of any future advocacy model must be whether it makes advocacy as independent as possible from the systems, organisations and decisions it may need to challenge.
Inspire welcomes the Patient and Client Council’s (PCC) Advocacy: A Call to Action and its contribution to an important discussion about the future of advocacy in Northern Ireland.
