Why PEACE of Mind Matters

Young people across Northern Ireland are facing increasing challenges linked to mental health, social media pressure, identity, relationships, and a sense of belonging.

Rising levels of anxiety, stress, and low mood among 11–25‑year‑olds highlight the growing need for early intervention, accessible support and youth‑friendly wellbeing programmes.

PEACE of Mind provides a safe, inclusive cross‑community and cross‑border approach to building shared resilience, strengthen coping skills and develop the tools needed to manage everyday emotional and social pressures.

The programme uses an integrated “Take and Go” model, ensuring young people leave with practical skills that positively impact their long‑term mental health and wellbeing.
