who is counselling for?

Anyone who is struggling with a personal concern can seek counselling. Common personal concerns include relationship difficulties, grief, difficult life circumstances, anxiety and depression. People often find it useful to talk to someone who is independent and not family or friends. This does not mean that their friends and family are not helpful, but often a person seeking counselling might not wish to burden friends or family; they might not wish to disclose everything to them, or indeed friends or family might even be part of the problem.
