Right support right time

Sometimes it helps to know you’re not alone. Our group support sessions give people the chance to come together, share experiences, and learn helpful skills in a safe and supportive space.
What are the sessions about?
Sessions cover a range of topics that people have told us would make a real difference to their wellbeing, such as:
- Managing anxiety
- Coping with grief and loss
- Building healthier relationships
- Improving sleep
- Understanding mental health and addiction
- Managing conflict or life changes
New topics will be added over time, based on what people need most.
Who are the sessions for?
Our sessions are open to anyone over 16 living in Northern Ireland,and the border counties of the Republic of Ireland.

How are they delivered?
- In-person: at local venues that are easy to access.
- Online: for those who prefer to join from home.
- Inclusive: support such as interpreters or adjustments for additional needs is available, so everyone can take part.
- Friendly and professional: sessions are led by trained staff who understand the challenges people face and create a safe, respectful space.
What to expect on the day
- Sessions times depend on the course, they can range from 1 hour to 3 hour sessions
- You’ll be part of a small, supportive group.
- You can join in as much or as little as you feel comfortable.
- At the end, you’ll be asked for feedback to help us improve and keep the sessions relevant.

When you reach out to the RSRT service, you will be offered a one-to-one brief solution focused intervention, either face to face, online or by phone with one of our advocacy team, within this session you will explore what options are available to find the right support that works for you.
