Former Ulster and Ireland Rugby star Stephen Ferris is encouraging employers across Northern Ireland to nominate themselves for our first Inspire Workplace Wellbeing Awards on the 21st June.
Speaking after a visit to the Inspire Workplaces call centre and counselling suite the former British and Irish Lion said “the support of my team mates and employers were really important during the times in my professional and person life when I have had to dig deep and draw on my own resilience skills. I’ve been really impressed with what the team from Inspire have told me about how all sorts of employers across NI are supporting the wellbeing of their staff and I’m looking forwarding to meeting them at the awards on the 21st of June."
John Conaghan, Director of Inspire Professional Services said “the Workplace Wellbeing Awards are a celebration of excellence in teamwork, wellbeing and support in workplaces from all sectors in Northern Ireland. Our gala award night in June will feature a special live interview and Q and A on these themes with Stephen and the evenings host BBC sports commentator Stephen Waston. It is going to be a very special evening.”
The closing date for nomination submissions has been extended until Friday 13th April. Workplaces from all sectors in Northern Ireland can download the nomination form here
