Peter McBride, CEO of Inspire and Willie McAllister Director of Development, recently met with Minister of State Finian McGrath at his office in Leinster House. MoS McGrath has dedicated responsibility for people with disabilities and he showed a keen interest in the Inspire approach to service delivery.
Speaking after the meeting Willie said “MoS McGrath is a well-known for his commitment to the rights of people with disabilities and their carers. He was interested in learning more about our commitment to person focused service delivery, our focus on standards and quality and how we engage with parents, carers and the wider community when we develop and deliver our services.”
Peter added “this was an important meeting for us. Minister McGrath is passionate about all of the issues that we work on and it was a genuine pleasure to discuss them with him. We are looking forward to building a constructive relationship with MoS McGrath as he moves forward with his work to ensure high quality, rights based services are available for people with an intellectual learning disability and their families and carers.”
