Our non 24 hour supported accommodation provides a valuable stepping stone between more intensive supported housing and independent living. Our facility is six single person flats and a one two person flat, available for people in receipt of support and recovery services with applications being made by their CMHT practitioner.
Support is tailored to meet the assessed need for each individual over an agreed number of hours per week which can be flexible when required.
Using a strengths based approach we promote the development of hope which creates the opportunity to regain control of their life’s and take personal responsibility towards achieving their wellbeing goals and positive outcomes.
We work with people to build on their strengths, skills and resilience, helping them to develop their own set of resources to self-manage and stay well. When they feel ready, we help them to progress towards more independent living.
We work together to enable people to gain and maintain daily living and budgeting skills, maintain their tenancy, explore opportunities for work, education and social interaction.
Supported accommodation provides a valuable opportunity for people to take responsibility for managing their own accommodation and developing the skills to manage a tenancy in the future.
We work in partnership with the people we support, their families and friends, and wider care teams, to promote and maintain good mental health and wellbeing.
Volunteers bring immeasurable value to all areas of Inspire’s work to support people living with experience of mental ill-health. Find out more about how you get involved with our work....
