The Rosses Supported Housing Scheme located in the North West, Jointly managed with Choice Housing Association. The service provides supported accommodation comprising of 34 apartments and 6 bungalows, for older people, and people over the age of 40 with identified support requirements. Set on private land, with mature Gardens and private car parking, The Rosses is situated in the Derry/ Londonderry area. The scheme is located near to local shops, post office and community facilities. Town is a short bus or taxi journey, and can alternatively be accessed on foot by the award winning ‘Peace Bridge’
The environment is warm, and friendly. Staff endeavour to promote wellbeing for all on their journey to achieving independent living and personal wellbeing. Our dedicated team offer a range of social events and activities to underpin the wellbeing of Tenants, activities can be offered in group, and on a one to one basis.

The service offers a flexible responsive approach to support Tenants, to achieve their goals. Based on the ‘Recovery Model of Care & Support. Tenants participate in their individual assessment of support needs, and agree a package of support guided by the Inspire Wellbeing Social Care Model. Tenants are involved in regular reviews and updates of support plans. Each Tenant has a Keyworker and Co key worker.
The Rosses do not provide care related activities such as ‘personal care, managing service user’s monies/financial transactions, or administration of medication.

The Rosses have a dedicated staff team who are on duty Monday to Friday 9.00 am – 6.00pm. On call arrangements are in place for Tenants with Fold Telecare outside of Inspire staffing hours.
