Living Well Living Longer

Living Well Living Longer is a new Inspire Wellbeing service designed to help people over the age of 60 to live safely and independently in their own community. Our service is delivered by highly skilled and trained staff supported by volunteers and we operate within strict professional and confidential boundaries.

Locations

If you are over 60 and live in the Armagh, Dungannon, Lisburn or Newtownards Council areas then the Living Well Living Longer service is available to you.

We can provide you with free support and short term assistance with:

  • Accompaniment to hospital/ medical appointments offering information and emotional support. 
  • Shopping and daily living tasks during a period of ill health or recovery
  • Getting out and about in your local community 
  • Connecting you with other services and information on how to access them by making appropriate referrals/signposts. 
  • Home safety and security 
  • Short term befriending for those with limited social support
  • Bereavement or traumatic event support
  • Managing finances and benefit claims 
  • Health concerns, alcohol problems or general family worries
