Western Community Wellbeing Service

Western Community Wellbeing Service provides a range of structured groups and individual activities to help those who experience mental ill health to access support in a safe and encouraging environment. The members, staff and volunteers work in partnership in all aspects of the running of the centre. The service is offered in an atmosphere of support, warmth, understanding and friendship.

Western Community Wellbeing Service is based on Market Street in Omagh town centre and is easily accessible by public transport. Our volunteer driver service ensures that those who live in remote areas and cannot access public transport easily can attend the centre. This helps combat social isolation and encourages social integration. A varied programme of activities is available throughout the week, including outreach activities and individual sessions. These activities may be facilitated by staff, members, volunteers or specialist providers e.g. lecturers from our local college. Some activities may be held in Western Area Community Wellbeing Service or at other outside venues e.g. other Inspire Community Wellbeing Centres, local college or community groups.
