We don’t want to just talk about mental health, we want shout about it. LOUDLY. Come and shout with us.
6.30m – 8.30pm
Shout Out on Lombard Street
Stigma = Shame
Shame = Silence
Silence hurts us all
One in five people will suffer from a mental health problem at some point in their lives. It’s a common thing. So why are we still so reluctant to talk about it? Come on join us on our soapboxes, grab a loudhailer and yell about why you think it’s time we talked openly about mental health. Shout about what happened to you, or your friend or someone you know. Or simply shout about how its ok to shout about these things. If shouting isn’t your thing you can sign our Mood Wall and let us know what you think. You will help break the stigma, you will help raise awareness and you might just help someone else.
Volunteers bring immeasurable value to all areas of Inspire’s work to support people living with experience of mental ill-health. Find out more about how you get involved with our work....
