critical incident stress debriefing

This course aims to support managers in their professional and personal response to providing critical incident debriefings to staff. The course focuses on supporting managers through the process of critical incident debriefing, specifically how they can support staff whilst also taking care of themselves.

The training shall aim to provide managers with the skills to facilitate critical debriefings, as well as building resilience to enable managers to be emotionally strong to have the conversation.

The training will examine personality types and the demands of working in demanding working environments.
