All our volunteer positions require you to submit an application form. You can apply via our website or you can download our application form and send via post or hand deliver into any of our services or our Dundalk office.
After receiving your application form our Volunteer coordinator will then make contact with you and advise you of any available volunteering positions in your area. If you would like to proceed the Volunteer coordinator will invite you for an informal chat. In circumstances where you live a distance away from the Volunteer coordinator this meeting can be arranged and take place at the service with the Service Manager.
If after this meeting both the potential volunteer, the Volunteer Coordinator and Service Manager are happy to proceed, the potential volunteer will be requested to complete a Vetting Invitation Form NVB1 and a request for two references will be made.
Once all your checks are returned and satisfactory the Volunteer Coordinator will contact the potential volunteer to arrange a suitable date and time for them to visit the service. Training is also provided for volunteers and is ongoing throughout their time as a volunteer with Inspire.
