be inspired to become an advocate...

Inspire Advocacy provide support for people who access mental health services in the community and in hospital settings.

We take time to listen to the views and concerns of the people we support and help them to explore their options and rights. Advocates play an important role in ensuring people have access to information and support to enable them to have a voice. We support people to communicate their wishes to the relevant people in a range of ways, including support them to attend meetings, or if appropriate, attending on their behalf.

Inspire will provide an online training programme prior to direct volunteering activity commencing.

The time commitment for volunteers will be flexible; however we ask volunteers are relatively confident they can commit to the service over an extended period to try to ensure continuity for individuals.
