Inspire Christmas Bootcamp

Throughout November and December, we are challenging YOU to take part in the Inspire Christmas Bootcamp! Are you up for the challenge?

We have partnered up with the amazing Lisa Hilland (Belfast’s favourite Personal Trainer as voted for by Belfast Live readers) - Bodies by Lisa - who has designed 4 unique workouts to challenge you on the weeks running up to Christmas! Lisa has designed the workouts that don't need equipment, can be easily completed at home and to suit all ages and fitness levels. We are encouraging you to get your family and friends or colleagues involved.

Each week you will have a new Bootcamp workout to complete...

4 weeks, 3 days a week, 20 minutes a day,

240 minutes in TOTAL!

We are asking you to raise a minimum of £30 (but you don’t have to stop there). The money you raise will support people living with mental ill health, intellectual disability, autism and addictions, ensuring they live with dignity and realise their full potential.

Why did we chose this fundraising idea?

Physical activity in any form is a great way to keep you physically healthy as well as improving your mental wellbeing. Research shows that doing exercise influences the release and uptake of the feel good chemical endorphins! So why not challenge yourself and join us virtually for our Christmas Bootcamp!?!

We often talk about the link between our 'mind' and 'body' so when considering mental health and physical health, the two should go hand in hand when looking after your wellbeing. Exercising also:

Relieves stress: It is the perfect way to unplug, turn off and rid yourself of any stress getting the feel-good hormones pumping around your body, leaving you feeling better than ever. 

A way to socialise: Joining in with your friends, colleagues or getting your whole family at home involved is a great way to spend time together.  

Improves sleep: Adding more activity to your daily routine can help improve the quality of your sleep, meaning you feel more rested in the morning.

Increases energy: As the days get colder and the night darker, we may feel too tired to get out and exercise - even getting started can be a struggle, but keeping active can really help boost your energy!
