Welcome to Inspire Disability Services

Inspire Disability Services (the new name for Inspire Wellbeing), provides support for people with learning/intellectual disabilities throughout the island of Ireland. Inspire works with and for people with learning disabilities to ensure they live healthy, productive lives and are supported to achieve their full potential within all aspects of their lives. Inspire supports young people and adults with learning/intellectual disability to live their lives within the community of their choice, maintain social and family ties and connections which are important to them, have the support of their community and access to general and specialist services that relate to their individual need, circumstances and preferences. Inspire works with Health and Social Care Trusts, the Health Service Executive, Housing Associations, Community and Voluntary Sector partners to plan, develop and deliver high quality care and housing support services for young people and adults with Learning/Intellectual Disabilities. Inspire develops support services which enable young people and adults to move onto small individual, non-congregated community homes and develops and plans transition support which enables relocation from long term institutional and unsuitable community settings to non-segrated community based homes.
