We are delighted to launch our 2022 flagship fundraising event in Northern Ireland – The Inspire ‘Colour Run’.

Our Colour Run will take place on Sunday 26th June 2022 at Stormont Estate Belfast and sponsored by Dunelm.  This will be a fun inclusive event, for all abilities so join us for a day of fun and laughter!

It is an inclusive family event in the accessible surrounds of Stormont Estate with Parliament Buildings in Belfast as the backdrop- so we are encouraging everyone to join us on the day with family, friends and pets!  The grounds of the estate are also the perfect lay out to allow everyone to take part in the event and then relax, celebrate and have a picnic after.

It is not a competitive event but, the route allows participants to complete a 5k event and time themselves if they wish to do so. The course is made up of 2 laps each 2.5k in length to allow participants to choose their distance while ensuring they feel fully included, go at their own pace and choose how many laps you wish to complete.

As this is a fun inclusive event for all ages, let us know how many people are taking part and what size tshirt they need for the event. We ask that participants of the Colour Run pledge to raise a minimum of £30 to support our services. But it doesn’t have to end there, you could aim even higher! We can support you in achieveing your goal with helpful tips and advice.

We are getting close to the big event. Here are some details to help you plan your day:

Our t-shirts have arrived and you will be able to collect these from our offices at: Lombard House, 10-20 Lombard Street, Belfast from Wednesday 22nd June until Friday 24th June 9am-5pm.

You can also collect on the day of the event.  Please note the only changing facilities will be the toilets which could result in long delays so please make arrangements for this.  If you are taking part as a group it is possible to collect t-shirts on behalf of your group just inform Danielle at so she can arrange to have these available together.

On the day
We are delighted to have Q Radio and the Q Crew join us on Sunday, bringing the tunes and atmosphere. We also have food vendors on site for you to avail off after the event as well as an ice cream truck.

The route we will be taking will be the same used by park run.  We will start about half way up Prince of Wales Avenue which is the main road from the front gates up to parliament buildings.  The front gate will be closed on the day and only pedestrian access will be available from there.

Limited parking is available in a car park off the Upper Newtownards Road beside the Mo Mowlam Play Park.  There is other parking available in surrounding areas but please consider local residents when parking.

Below is a map which outlines the route and the parking available.
